WINTER LOJ TRIP
February 18-21, 2027
The Adirondak Loj, built in 1927, has space for 38 guests, a rustic dining room, and a comfortable living room with a stone fireplace. Our chapter will take over the Adirondak Loj as its private retreat for a long weekend: Thursday, February 18 through Sunday, February 21.
For the past 45 years, the Winter Loj Trip has been an annual tradition — for members and non-members alike. Join your old ADK friends, and make new ones. Snowshoe or ski High Peaks’ trails right from the Loj, ride a bobsled at the Olympics Sports Center, ice skate on Heart Lake, or just hang out ‘round the fireplace in the Loj’s Great Room — and in the evening you can boast of your day’s feats over a beer or wine.
What’s Included?
The Loj Trip package includes:
- 3 nights lodging
- 3 breakfasts
- Pizza Thursday evening with appetizers
- 2 dinners (Friday and Saturday evenings)
- non-alcoholic beverages
- a tip for the Loj staff
We ask participants to bring an appetizer or hors d’oeuvre to pass for the evening get-togethers. Beer and wine will be offered at a cash bar by the Loj staff.
Lunches
Bring your own, or you can purchase trail lunches from the Loj.

*Note that if you are not currently a member of ADK, membership for an individual is only $45-50/yr and your membership fee almost pays for itself with the $32-$42 non-member price premium.
Carpooling
As usual, there will be a car-pooling option. Indicate your ride status on the registration form if you want to get a ride, or are willing to give someone a ride, or are open to either option.
Priority
Room preferences are decided by lottery for those individuals who register and provide a $100 deposit by October 31, 2026.
All other registrants will be given bed reservation priority on a first-come first-filled basis after November 7th.
Waiting List
Reservations received after the trip is full will be placed on a waiting list.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 60 days or more from the date of arrival will incur a $20 cancellation fee and receive a full refund of the deposit; for cancellations or changes made within 60 days from the date of arrival:

- We will do our best to fill your reservation from our wait list to refund all or a portion of your deposit less the cancellation fee.
- If we are unable to fill your reservation from our wait list, guests receive no refund of the deposit (even if they rebook within 60 days). You can transfer your reservation to a friend or family member by letting us know as well as have the person use the registration link with acceptance of ADK’s Release of Liability.
Full Payment
A Balance Statement will be e-mailed to everyone registered before November 15, 2026. Payment of the balance is due no later than Dec. 14, 2026.
Additional Loj Trip details will be e-mailed to everyone by the end of January 2027.
